The Secretary of State for Tourism, Rosana Morillo, has presented the Smart Tourist Destinations Manual, published in English by Springer under the title “The Spanish Model for Smart Tourism Destination Management: A Methodological Approach”.

The Cicerone solution, developed by iUrban, was the winner of the first edition of “The AI ​​for Tourism Awards 2024”, organised by SEGITTUR and FITUR as part of Fitur Know-How & Export.

The Secretary of State for Tourism, Rosana Morillo, today awarded the Smart Tourist Destination certification to around 40 destinations as part of the 12th edition of Fitur Know-How & Export, an initiative created by SEGITTUR and FITUR, in collaboration with ICEX.

SEGITTUR and the Spanish Association for Standardisation (UNE) are on the verge of presenting the new UNE standard 178510:2023 on Smart Tourist Companies (STCs).
