Today, Sanxenxo has presented its Sustainable Tourism Indicators Monitoring System, developed by SEGITTUR as a result of the agreement signed between the two entities last September.
SEGITTUR has updated its Semantics Manual for Tourist Destinations, which aims to achieve standardised communication between Smart Destinations to increase tourist confidence in the face of COVID-19 throughout the life cycle of their trip.
Javier Bustamente Moreno, Chairman of SEGITTUR from 2008 to 2012, died this weekend. May he rest in peace. European Senior Tourism, which Javier Bustamente liked to call the “Senior Erasmus”, was a personal project.
Today, the Chairman of SEGITTUR, Enrique Martínez Marín, awarded the Costa del Sol president of Tourism, Francisco Salado, the Smart Destination designation after it exceeded the methodology requirements.
