SEGITTUR has launched the second study to determine the degree of digitalisation of tourism SMEs in Spain, with a survey of more than 2,500 companies from the different subsectors.

SEGITTUR met today in Malaga with more than thirty destinations from the Smart Destination Network to analyse tourism intelligence, based on the analysis of data from different sources linked directly and indirectly to the tourism sector.
Spain is a pioneer in the development of the Tourism Ontology, key to the sector’s digital transformation, since semantics is an enabling technology by promoting the interoperability of systems, facilitating collaboration and data sharing between public and private players.
